About Me
I am a clinical psychologist based in Weltevreden Park, with extensive experience working across a variety of contexts, including psychiatric institutions, forensics and general hospitals. Over the years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a wide range of psychological, emotional, and relational challenges, which has given me a deep appreciation for the unique needs and strengths that each person brings to therapy.
My Passion for the field of psychology started at a young age and was confirmed through various life experiences and circumstances. I started my studies in 2011 at the University of South Africa and culminated them with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (formerly MEDUNSA).

My Background
My Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in client-centred and psychodynamic principles, while also drawing on an integration of evidence-based tools and techniques. I believe that therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all process, and I tailor my interventions to suit the specific goals and circumstances of each client. This flexible approach allows me to meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they move toward growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups across all ages, with a particular interest in working with adults and adolescents. I have a special passion for couples therapy, where I help partners navigate challenges, improve communication, and negotiate compromises to suite their mutual goals.
Whether it is through addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or relationship difficulties, my focus is always on creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and empowered.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing, and I am committed to walking the therapeutic journey with empathy, compassion, and professionalism.
